The food was so good I went 2 days in a row! The first time I had the 3 item basket which came with catfish, shrimp, wings and fries. It was enough for me and my partner to share. The catfish was well seasoned and fried relatively hard just the way I like it. The shrimp was tender. I got the cajun lemon pepper wings. They were packed with flavor. I also had a daiquiri. It was pretty good as well. On the second visit, I ordered wings and a single filet of catfish because it was that good. I opted for takeout on both visits. Great menu selections including a daiquiri flight. Maybe I'll try that next time and dine in! The restaurant is black owned and I was more than happy to support the business. I will continue to spread the word about this place and visit again soon!
My partner and I came on a Saturday afternoon when they first opened. We ordered a catfish and Cajun lemon wing combo with fries and toast. We also ordered two daiquiris: lemonade and hypnotize. Whewwwww! Everything and I do mean everything was GREAT. The food came out piping hot. It was seasoned well, extra crispy, and full of flavor. The daiquiris actually had the perfect ratio of alcohol so it wasn't overpowering at all. I wish I could go back tomorrow but they're closed! Definitely worth a visit.
I love this place! Absolutely delicious daiquiris and the BEST catfish po' boy I have ever had. Been coming here for months and they never disappoint. Give this place a try if you haven't already! Edit: Grabbed their two new wing flavors, Cajun Buffalo and Garlic Parmesan today... they were both so damn good, the Garlic Parmesan is creamy and flavorful and the Cajun Buffalo was spicy and incredibly good. Had to grab a catfish po' boy, too. The Ooh Lea Lea is my favorite drink, though I haven't tried one I didn't like This place is SO good, y'all have to go and try them! Staff is amazing too. Really can't ask for more!
Upon walking in, I was nervous about the food and drinks. I have been to comparable spots where the food was good and the drinks were not. My friends and I were pleasantly surprised that both the food and drinks were amazing! I had the slurricane which was a nice mix of hurricane and hypnotic. I also ordered the fish basket and asked that it be cooked extra crispy and well seasoned and it came out perfect with a pile of fries. Bonus: the free Jell-O shots! I had to go back later that evening to take my friend who was also pleasantly surprised at the food and drinks. The only concern I had was coming from the bathroom area. One of the workers had to light an incense to try and cover the smell
I just happened to be in the parking lot and saw that it was a daiquiri spot / restaurant in the shopping center. I called my wife and told her. We came back later that evening and my wife got her daquiri and hot lemon pepper wings. I got the bbq wings. The service is A+ as well as the food. Family owned and operated and the owner is so pleasant. I highly recommend you stopping buy and show some support to this black owned establishment.
